This calendar allows you to suggest entries by typing them in yourself. After you put the info into the form provided, email shirley@comeoutdancing.com and Shirley will review and approve. Note that we generally list music and dance info only. Regarding dance lessons and studios: I prefer to list lessons and events where GLBT students are welcomed and where men and women can lead and follow.

» Salsa Dancing at Pura Vida Tapas - students are going on Mar 20

DJ Sergio played salsa music in the bar at Pura Vida Tapas Bar each Friday until March 27, 2009.

We went on the third Friday night, March 20, 2009. and on Sergio's birthday, March 27.

We are hoping that the restaurant will resume some dancing at least once a month.

It was great fun for several years.

Call and reserve a table in the bar where the dancing begins about 10pm: 404-870-9797. Tell Leslie Santiago that you are with Shirley and Comeoutdancing.

No cover charge. No smoking. Great tapas menu and mojitos. A variety of dancers. A friendly atmosphere.

Comfortable for beginners and also for GLBT dancers.

Sergei plays a few merengues, bachata's and will play cha-cha's on request!
